NB - all of the below is from a decade or so ago and is preserved here for historical archival reasons (i.e. I've been too lazy to update it). Both of the below Android apps have been delisted when I didn't keep up with the dozens of 'you need to add a content warning for Uruguay' type requirements), and I've since written a new one, Wall Mirror, which I should really write about here when I get time!)

I like to make little games in my spare time. Mostly I experiment for fun and education and to experiment with different technologies and game mechanics, but I have also managed to publish a couple of games in the Android store, and my latest game should be published to IOS soon (if it makes it past the censors).

Play Word Nazi!

Word Nazi is my second published game. It's a party game for 4+ grown-ups, kind of like Taboo or Cards Against Humanity, except played on a tablet or phone, which is passed around among the players.

The rules are simple: one player tries to describe a word (e.g. "Chronic") to their teammates without using any of the relate forbidden words ("Acute", "Dr. Dre", etc). While they do this, a player from the opposing team (the eponymous Word Nazi) watches to make sure they don't cheat. And some of the words are rather racy, so hijinx ensue.

Word Nazi is built with Cordova, an open source library that compiles html/js in to mobile apps. This was my first time working with Cordova (or javascript for that matter) but it went pretty smoothly, it's a great way to dip your toe in to mobile if you normally do web dev.

Also, you may enjoy the website I built for Ineptech, the "company" that "published" Word Nazi.
